Sberbank, DocDoc, Mother and Child to develop telemedicine

MOSCOW, Mar 13 (PRIME) -- Russia’s biggest bank Sberbank, its majority-controlled free doctor search service DocDoc, and maternity hospital and clinic chain Mother and Child have signed a cooperation agreement to develop the first medical marketplace on the basis of DocDoc, representatives of the partners told reporters on Tuesday.

Mother and Child will provide telemedical services via DocDoc.

“According to Sberbank’s analysts, the total e-health services market will develop rapidly and exceed 238 billion rubles by 2022. Marketplace DocDoc plans to occupy leading positions on the market,” the partners said.

Managed by MD Medical Group, Mother and Child runs 35 medical facilities in Russia and three franchising clinics in Ukraine.
